Garden Design

If you are lucky enough to have your own then I think you may agree that right now, gardens have become critical to our mental and physical wellbeing. With our design skills and passion for the natural landscape we can design your garden so that you can enjoy and experience it in a way that you may not yet have imagined.

With a strong focus on eco materials and nifty design ideas that will encourage wildlife to settle in and make itself at home we will not only be creating beautiful, functional spaces but we’ll be giving nature a helping hand too.

Initially we would pop round for a site visit, measure up the space and establish what it is you would like to achieve with your garden. From this we will create our initial proposal which will consist of drawings of the space along with lots of reference images of plants, materials etc so you can really understand the look and feel we are proposing. Once you are happy with everything we can introduce you to some landscapers and that’s where the fun begins! We would oversee the build ensuring everything is done perfectly so you are completely satisfied with the end result and voila, there you are sitting in the dappled shade drinking a G&T with a smile on your face.

Feel free to give us a call to discuss your project!

This 10m south facing garden was in almost constant shade from an enormous Silver Birch tree. The decision was reached that the tree needed to go, also because it had reached a ripe old age and would need to be felled before long.

The brief was to create sunny open areas but also shady, secluded seating areas with different views through the space. Budget was a big consideration so the existing patio was retained and gravel was used for the remaining pathways. We squeezed in as many small trees as possible to make up for the natural habitat lost from the felling of the Silver Birch and we have focused on flowers favoured by pollinators such as Poppies, Grasses, Verbenas and Foxgloves. All in all its an extreme transformation at a relatively low cost as hard landscaping was kept to a minimum. Happy people, happy birds, happy bees!
